Course enrolment for this block opens 13/01/2021 and closes 20/01/2021…
Classes commence remotely via Zoom, Wednesday 27/01/2021, 18:30pm – 20:30pm for 10 weeks until 31/03/2021.
This short course suits an adventurous beginner or intermediate level learner. You need to be able to do 3 basic stitches, chain, double crochet and treble.
You will learn working with American and British stitch terminology, working with gauge, some useful techniques and stitches, and some hacks to improve look of work and speed of working.
You will need a selection of colours in Double Knitting weight of yarn and a range of 3-5mm hooks. I recommend Stylecraft Special acryllic DK because it has a large range of colours, is cheap and washes well, but any brand will do. The best online source is www.woolwarehouse.co.uk. Due to Covid the only wool shop in Dundee is now HobbyCraft.
|Payment for this block is £53…|
I love seeing and celebrating success by my students, especially when they complete a project they have chosen to work on over a period of time. One of the students I taught over the winter has gone on to do marvellous work! She has kindly sent me these two pictures of her completed Stylecraft Spice of Life CAL Blanket.
Well done that woman! Thank you for sharing this with me.
Hello to all crochet lovers!
Here is notification of a new Crochet Along project.
This is a great introduction to CALs as it only lasts four weeks and uses granny squares.
